Brioche little pies (pirozhki) 25 pcs

The quintessential Slavic baked pies: rich brioche dough, whole milk, free range eggs and unsalted (sweet) butter. Deep filled with a savoury filling. 

Choose from: slow-cooked beef and caramelised onion, buttery potatoes with mushrooms or cabbage and egg.

How many portions?

1 box contains 25 pies, each is apprx 8-9 cms long or 50-60 gr. 

How to store: wrapped well in cling film in the fridge for 2 days. do not freeze.

How to re-heat:  heat the (non-fan) oven to 170-180C, transfer the pies carefully onto a baking sheet and heat up for 5 mins, until warmed through. 

Ingredients, dough: organic flour (wheat), whole milk, butter, eggs, salt, sugar, yeast.

Filling:

beef chuck, onions, carrots, bay leaf, peppercorns, sunflower oil, salt. decorated with Nigella seeds.

potatoes, mushrooms, onions, sunflower oil, butter, salt, pepper. decorated with poppy seeds.

cabbage (white), egg, onion, butter, sunflower oil, salt, pepper. decorated with caraway seeds.
