Beef koftas with Georgian Adjika relish (gf) x 20
Little beef patties with fresh herbs, some dried fruit and a little garlic. Savoury and a touch sweet.
Karina makes this recipe based on her memories of spending summers in Pyatigorsk in the Caucasus.
Size: 20 small koftas (each 35gr) with a 50 ml tub of our home-made Adjika.
How to store: in the fridge for a maximum of 3 days.
How to re-heat: (koftas) in the fridge for up to 3 days. (Adjika relish) in the fridge for up to 10 days.
How to serve: heat up a frying up to a medium level and shallow fry gently with a little oil for 5 mins until warmed though. Or in the pre-heated conventional 180C oven (or 160C fan-assisted) for 5 mins.
Ingredients: ground beef, mixed dry berries, garlic, mayo (rapeseed oil (78%), water, free range pasteurised EGG and EGG yolk (8.9%), spirit vinegar, sugar, salt, lemon juice, antioxidant (calcium disodium EDTA), flavouring, paprika extract), mix of spice, salt, pepper.
