Napoleon cake (mille feuille)
The classic Russian cake of 'thousand layers' with origins in France.
Our Napoleon is not too moist, just as we like it (if you prefer a more moist cake, please email us). Flaky pastry with layers of crème pâtissière, mixed in with a little bit of whipped cream for lightness.
Size: 8 inches, square, will cut easily into 14-20 pieces.
Decoration: is simple and beautiful, with a few pieces of fruit - NB, not like in the picture.
How to store: in the fridge and eat within 2 days. do not freeze.
Ingredients: flour, butter, milk, cream, eggs, sugar, corn four, vanilla.
