Oladushki with apricot pripyok (new!)
Plump, fluffy pancakes with a surprise fruit pripyok - sunny apricots right now are so in season!
This is an old, Slavic recipe, which we are reviving. Pripyok literally means something that's baked on top of something: fruit, veg or even cheese.
The result is a crispy pancake exterior with a slightly gooey apple-y heart.
NB: We now have a gluten free option too!
Size: 8 oladushki in the pack.
How to store: in the fridge for up to 5 days, but best eaten as soon as possible as they'll dry out a little*
How to re-heat: put in the pre-heated (non-fan) oven 180C for 4 mins, then flip over for another 4 mins.
Ingredients: self-raising flour, kefir, fresh and ripe apricots, eggs, sunflower oil, sugar, salt, baking powder.

* Can you freeze them? We advise against it, because we might have frozen them before. We very rarely freeze our food, but sometimes we do when we know the quality of the dish won't suffer. We check in advance to ensure this is the case. We only ever freeze to manage the production of our little kitchen and avoid waste.
